Colvic Northerner 27 ‘Hobo’

Hobo is a very special boat that has undergone a full renovation. She was stripped down to a bare fibreglass hull and over the last several years has been professionally fitted out.

She is now in immaculate condition and is well equipped with a number of additional extras that will make this a standout harbour boat for the new owners.

Hobo, being a Colvic Northerner, is a very popular house boat along this stretch of the coast as she will sit flat on the mud or sand when the harbours dry out, this makes weekending and overnighting on the boat not only possible but very comfortable.

Hobo has been fitted out in a way that no wiring is visible and any additional instrumentation or power requirements can be fitted using existing accessible routes.

All of  the external woodwork on Hobo has been replaced with Iroko wood and it has been extensively oiled to protect and preserve the wood.

Hobo has plenty of comfortable seating with burgundy interior cushions which is perfect for families or couples that love to entertain in what would be an amazing setting, out in the harbour as the sun sets. The galley is well equipped with sink, gas hob and lots of stowage.

The engine has been converted to keel cooling for “high and dry” sailing with a raw water cooled heat exchanger fed by an electric pump.

A full professional survey was completed in July 2025 after the restoration works had been completed.

Hobo has been previously moored in Thornham at a mooring that has been substantially built using new telegraph poles along with stainless steel ground anchors and new staging. There is a possibility that a mooring may be available but it is not part of the sale.
