  • Norfolk Oyster - Boat No.16 'Wizard'

The Norfolk Oyster is an ideal family boat as, unlike other, lighter 17ft boats of a similar style, she sits in the water rather than on the water. This is a boat which we are confident you will love.

Wizard is a charming Norfolk Oyster and has been professionally maintained every winter for the last fifteen years. She is one of the earlier boats built so has the step style inner moulding which is unique to those early boats.

She has been a family boat and this is a reluctant sale by her current owners. Before she leaves our yard with her new owners we will give her a full service, including servicing of the outboard engine and antifouling the hull, so that she’s ready to sail away for the 2020 season.

This Norfolk Oyster, George Banks, has been professionally serviced every winter for the last ten years and so is in good condition. She will be professionally serviced by us this winter too with her wood work (including mast and spars) being stripped back and oiled and varnished, ready for the spring with the name being removed so she will need renaming by the new owners (no need for superstition, we rename lots of boats). Her topstrake will also be sanded back and resprayed with the new owner having the option to choose the colour of the topstrake if they wish to change it from the current dark blue.
